Traineeships
What is a traineeship?
Traineeships combine training and employment to complete a Nationally Recognised qualification and gain on-the-job experience. This means that eligible individuals can learn and earn money at the same time.

Under the NSW Government fee-free traineeship initiative, NSW trainees that commence their training on or after 1 January 2020 may be eligible for fee free training. For eligible trainees there will be no requirement to pay the student fee. For more information, go to vet.nsw.gov.au.
Benchmark College currently provides traineeships for the following qualifications:

Business
Traineeships can be full time or part time and vary in duration from 1 to 4 years.
Types of traineeships
There are different traineeship types, e.g. “New Entrant” and “Existing Worker” traineeships. Each type of traineeship has different eligibility, fees, incentives and time frames.
