What does 'transitioning qualifications' mean for my employee?

A training package is a set of nationally endorsed standards and qualifications for recognising and assessing people's skills in a specific industry, industry sector or enterprise. They are developed by national Industry Skills Councils (ISCs).

From time to time, ISCs will release new Training Packages.  Registered Training Organisations are required to transition students out of superseded (older) qualifications within a 12 month period of the new qualifications release date.  If during the enrollment period. the qualification becomes superseded, you and your employee will be contacted by Benchmark College and your trainer. The Trainer/assessor will explain the options and assist you and your employee in the process.
