What should I do if I have a complaint?
Benchmark College is committed to developing and maintaining an effective, timely, fair and equitable grievance handling system which is easily accessible and offered to students/clients at no charge.
Wherever possible, students, clients and staff are encouraged to resolve concerns or difficulties directly with the person(s) concerned. There are trainers, administration and management staff available to assist you in resolving issues at this level. If you are unable to resolve your issue at this level, a formal grievance can be lodged.
Formal grievances must be submitted in writing, addressed to the Compliance Manager or the College Director. For more information please view the Complaints and Appeals Policy (Students tab, Policies and Procedures) or contact us on 1800 286 916.
Can I provide feedback to the college?
Yes! We welcome all feedback as it assists us to improve the service we provide so that it continues to meet the needs of our students, employers and industry.
You can provide verbal and written feedback to your employee's trainer or you can phone us on 1800 286 916 or email email@example.com.
What does 'transitioning qualifications' mean for my employee?
A training package is a set of nationally endorsed standards and qualifications for recognising and assessing people's skills in a specific industry, industry sector or enterprise. They are developed by national Industry Skills Councils (ISCs).
From time to time, ISCs will release new Training Packages. Registered Training Organisations are required to transition students out of superseded (older) qualifications within a 12 month period of the new qualifications release date. If the qualification your employee is currently enrolled in becomes superseded, you will be contacted by Benchmark College and your trainer. Your trainer/assessor will explain your options to you and your employee and assist you in this process.
