Congratulations to another of our students who has successfully completed her qualification!
Georgia commenced her CHC30113 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care as a part qualification VET in Schools program delivered by Benchmark College, whilst in years 11 and 12. Once she finished school, Georgia was quick to enrol in the course directly with Benchmark College to complete the remainder of her studies. Since completing, she has secured employment in the industry - Georgia we wish you all the best for your future!
Georgia can be seen here with 2 of her classmates Ebony and Hannah, who are still undertaking their studies. Both students have also gained part-time employment in the industry, congratulations!

CHC30113 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care students are currently learning about the Early Years Learning Framework for the unit of competency CHCECE009 Use an approved learning framework to guide practice.  Each student was asked to design a poster where they  had to choose a type of play and match it to a theorist.  They also included Outcomes, Principals and Practices from the Early Years Learning Framework.

Students of CHC30113 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care created wonderful Australia Day craft in class. As a group, they discussed the importance of cultural diversity and looked at how they could celebrate these events in an Early Childhood Service.  Then they researched craft ideas on the internet.

Students independently prepared the items needed from the Benchmark craft collection.   Their craft creations reflect the students imagination and enthusiasm towards being confident learners of Early Childhood Education and Care.

As part of their requirements to demonstrate current industry skills, trainers and assessors regularly work in the industry in which they train and assess.

Here is one of our trainers, Gail, working at a early childhood education service (childcare centre).

Team work, problem solving and working together to realise common goals are just some of the things that are covered and developed when undertaking classroom based training, as can be seen in this part  qualification program Benchmark College is currently delivering. Chandu (trainer) and the class had a great day building and developing new skills and friendships while participating in fun activities!
