Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing)
This qualification will provide you with the skills to follow an individualised plan to provide person-centred support to people who may require support due to ageing or other reason.
Learn the concepts and practices required to provide care and support and follow organisational procedures and complete workplace documents in an aged care residential setting.
Candidates to meet the following:
Have or obtain a current National Police Check#;
Must be over he age of 18 years; and
Unique Student Identifier; and
Complete a Pre-enrolment quiz.
The CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support is made up of 13 units of competency which consist of 7 core units and 6 elective units (Packaging Rules for the Ageing specialisation apply).
Course duration is 34 weeks
Classes are held 2 days per week
Students to complete 4 weeks of work experience at an aged care facility.

Qualification pathways that may be considered after successful completion include CHC43015 Certificate IV in Ageing Support or CHC43415 Certificate IV in Leisure and Health.
Career Pathways that may be considered after successful completion are:
- Care worker.
- Support worker.
- Assistant in Nursing.
Delivered face to face at our training facilities: 140-142 Henry Street Penrith
Classroom location is Penrith CBD.
Employment Based Traineeship
Delivered fully on the job with workplace monitoring and assessment visits conducted by a Benchmark trainer.
12 months full time (part time traineeships also available, contact us for more information).
Location for the training is at the trainee's employer.
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
RPL is suitable for those that already have skills, knowledge and experience and may not need to be trained and can provide evidence of competence.
RPL can be completed for all or part of a qualification.
