  • CHCFC301A Support the development of children
  • CHCIC301D Interact effectively with children
  • CHCPR301A Provide experiences to support children's play and learning
  • CHCPR303D Develop understanding of children's interests and developmental needs
  • HLTFA301B Apply first aid
  • HLTOHS300A Contribute to OHS processes

Delivery Modes

Delivery ModeNotes
Employment based traineeship
  • Delivered fully on the job with workplace monitoring and assessment visits conducted by a Benchmark trainer.
  • 12 months duration full time (part time traineeships also available).
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
  • Available to those that already hold the necessary skills and knowledge. RPL can be completed for all or part of a qualification.

 

Fees

Fees for this qualification will vary depending on delivery mode. The qualification is available as a traineeship and other Government funding may also be available. See Traineeships & Subsidised Training for further information.

 

Pathways

Qualifications that may be considered after successful completion include (CHC50908) Diploma of Children's Services (Early childhood education and care) or other relevant Certificate IV or Diploma qualification.
