Entry requirements

Preferred pathways for candidates considering this qualification include:

  • BSB40807 Certificate IV in Frontline Management or other relevant qualification, OR
  • With vocational experience but without formal supervision or management qualifications.

 

Course Content

The Diploma of Management (BSB51107) is made up of 8 units which consists of 5 units from Group A and 3 units from Group B.

Delivery Modes

Delivery ModeNotes
Employment based traineeship
  • Delivered fully on the job with workplace monitoring and assessment visits conducted by a Benchmark trainer.
  • 18-24 months duration full time (part time traineeships also available).
Classroom based
  • Delivered at our campuses, Penrith, Liverpool, Campbelltown, Tuggerah.
  • Part time day and evening courses.
Customised workshops
  • We can provide workshops in the workplace where there are a number of people required to compete the training.
  • Workshops will be scheduled in line with organisation requirements.
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
  • Available to those that already hold the necessary skills and knowledge. RPL can be completed for all or part of a qualification.

 

Assessment

Assessment for this qualification will be conducted using a variety of methods which may include:

  • Questioning
  • Observation/demonstration
  • Workplace projects
  • Case studies/scenarios
  • Third party feedback

 

Fees

Fees for this qualification will vary depending on delivery mode. The qualification is available as a traineeships and other Government funding may also be available. See Traineeships & Subsidised Training for further information.

 

University Pathways

For those considering university, successful completion of this Diploma can grant you credit towards a Bachelor of Business and Commerce at the University of Western Sydney (UWS).
